Another beautiful day in Steamboat Springs as we all enjoyed bluebird skies and some groomed runs up on Mt. Werner. Venturing around the mountain, a friend and I were able to find some spots with 12+ in of untouched snow. Since the base was not too deep, we were quite careful to avoid the still protruding rocks, bushes and trees. I still managed to take a few spills though. A great day on the mountain and a lot of fun to find some hidden spots. Rumor is that storms are supposed to stop through tomorrow, just in time for the holiday crowds.
