The leaves and landscapes are beginning to change this weekend as the temperatures begin to cool in Steamboat Springs. While the temperatures in the day have remained in the 70s this past week, evening temperatures have regularly dipped into the high 30s making for excellent sleeping weather and an even better ‘Indian Summer.’ For those who are near Steamboat, this weekend promises to be an excellent one to drive to town.

One of our favorite places to visit in fall is Buffalo Pass just outside of downtown Steamboat Springs. A popular back country skiing spot once the snow begins to fall, Buffalo Pass offers beautiful panoramic views back toward the valley on the drive toward the top.
