Yesterday was a great day! My first full day of skiing all season had my legs a bit tuckered as i slowly stepped out of my skis at the end of the day. But with the new terrain open i couldn’t pass up the opportunity to ski until the lifts were gradually shutting down. With Four Points in addition to Storm Peak, and new trails opening with each passing day, we were able cruise fluidly around the mountain. It is a good feeling when you are debating at the end of the day if you should take the Gondola back down because you’ve pushed yourself on every run.

Getting to the bottom there was a large crowd over by the ski storage area. Walking over i was a bit surprised to see Santa and a few of his Reindeer had taken a short stop in Steamboat a bit early this year. I had never seen reindeer before, so i was excited to see them up close!
