The Howler Alpine Slide in Steamboat at Historic Howelsen Hill is one of the most exciting summer attractions for families and friends. While visiting the Alpine Slide, the scenic views of downtown and the mountain area go beyond. As you ride the chairlift to the top of Historic Howelsen Hill you can take in all the stunning views Steamboat has to offer. A sled is provided to you at the top of the lift, while you wind down a 2,400 foot track through the bends and curves of the natural landscape of the beautiful Howelsen Hill. If you haven’t visited this fun activity Steamboat has to offer, I completely recommend it!
